Janet Weaver, MA

Janet Weaver, MA, is a Research Project Coordinator at Juniper Gardens Children’s Project at the University of Kansas. In her role as project coordinator, she coordinates research staff, families, and school schedules for data collection. Janet facilitates meetings across research sites and develops project materials. She implements school-based interventions in KC metro preschools and assists in training research staff. She monitors adherence to clinical trial protocol, and data safety and management. Janet earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emporia State University and received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Webster University. She previously worked as a Children & Adolescent Psychology Assistant at a community mental health center in Toledo, Ohio. She has clinical experience administering psychological testing and providing evidence-based therapy interventions to children ages 3-22.
